The Healing Crisis Part 2

Crisis

Have you ever been in a situation where everything you knew was flipped upside down? Maybe it was a situation where you questioned everything that you were doing and wondered if you were making the right choice.  This is the crisis and growing zone.

Searching For More…

In my experience,  the times where I have questioned everything and I mean everything led me to an increased experience of self.  The chaos that I experienced was just the breaking of a “mold” or ideas that I had so that I could then rearrange and grow into a new paradigm. We have all heard of the mid-life crisis and this is another one of these events.  These are times where we quest to find deeper meaning in life. It is in these times where it is paramount to turn inwards instead of outwards (you don’t need to buy a fancy car;).

As my guru would say, “In is the only way out”.

All of my most profound internal struggles usually cleared up after the crisis… but only until the next upheaval comes along.  I know that these healing crises are essential for growth and your health.

What to do?

I find that doing yoga, meditation, and Myofascial Release help me on my path.  If you would like to explore the yoga and meditation path, I would recommend taking Inner Engineering.  It has helped tremendously on my path.  Otherwise, try doing some Myofascial Release.
